This course fulfils the educational requirements needed to apply for an Estate Agent’s Licence in Victoria. 

An Estate Agent’s Licence allows you to work as a licensed estate agent in a sales, leasing, business broking, or stock and station role. You are also able to run your own agency and hire agent’s representatives to work under your supervision.

Successful completion will depend on your current skills, knowledge, and the time you have available to study.

The program is composed of the following twelve units:

  • CPPREP5002 Establish and monitor property industry trust account management practices
  • CPPREP5003 Manage ethical practice in the property industry
  • CPPREP5004 Manage a safe workplace in the property industry
  • CPPREP5005 Manage teams in the property industry
  • CPPREP5006 Manage operational finances in the property industry
  • CPPREP5007 Develop a strategic business plan in the property industry

General Elective Units you will study

  • CPPREP5008 Market the property agency
  • CPPREP5010 Manage customer service activities in the property industry
  • BSBLDR522 Manage people performance
  • BSBLDR602 Provide leadership across the organisation
  • BSBOPS502 Manage business operational plans

The above is based on a student who has already completed CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (Estate Agents Representative).

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be issued a qualification known as the CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management)

Successful completion of this program will satisfy the educational requirements to apply for an Estate Agent’s Licence with Consumer Affairs. 

There are no formal entry requirements for this program.

However, prior to commencing the course you will be required to complete an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy) assessment.

You will also be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. If you do not currently have one you will be able to register at usi.gov.au.

While this program satisfies the educational requirements to apply to the regulator, you should also check Consumer Affairs’ eligibility requirements (see here).

Our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) options provide you with acknowledgement of previous study, skills and experience.
